Sin City, the second mixtape in Custom Made's Street Cinema mixtape series established the group's hardcore LA/NYC hybrid sound even further. Many hip-hop fans on the West Coast loved that the group was doing something new and refreshing, but other West Coast rap purists couldn't understand why the group's sound was so influenced by NYC hip-hop. Custom Made could care less about the people who didn't understand or like their sound. As it was, they weren't trying to be pop stars. The hardcore reality of street life was all they wanted to rap about so that's what they did.
